1
Choose your tier
Pick the student band that fits your district. We'll confirm enrollment numbers and send an invoice — PO-friendly.
2
Receive your license
Your district license key arrives by email within one business day. No software to install, no IT ticket required.
3
Teachers set up classrooms
Each teacher creates a classroom, generates student access codes, and manages progress from their dashboard.
4
Students start coding
Students open a browser, enter their code, and they're in. Blocks on the left, real code on the right — synced live.

Everything a district needs. Nothing it doesn't.

Designed with teachers and administrators in mind — not just students.

🖥️
Teacher Dashboard
See every student's programs, run counts, and last active date. Spot who's stuck and who's thriving at a glance.
🏫
Classroom Rostering
Create classrooms, generate student access codes, and manage enrollment. No email addresses or parent accounts required for students.
🔀
Blocks → Real Code
Drag a block — it appears as C# and JavaScript. Type code — blocks update. Students transition naturally without being pushed.
🐛
Step Debugger
Pause, step, and watch variables update in real time. Teaches debugging fundamentals in a visual, non-intimidating way.
🎨
Sprite Canvas & Motion
Students can draw, animate sprites, and create interactive programs — making learning feel like creating, not studying.
🌐
Nothing to Install
Works on Chromebooks, iPads, Windows, Mac — any modern browser. No app store, no IT deployment, no update management.

23 ready-to-run programs. Zero prep.

Every student starts on day one — no blank canvas anxiety. The built-in sample library covers beginner through advanced, with real programs that solve real problems.

The prime number progression — in one tool.
Three versions of the same program: brute-force loop → square-root optimization → reusable function. Students see why the algorithm matters, not just that it exists. That's computer science thinking, not just coding.

District FAQ

The questions procurement and curriculum coordinators ask most.

How is student count verified?
We go by your self-reported enrollment at the time of purchase. We don't audit mid-year. If your enrollment grows significantly between years, we'll discuss the right tier at renewal — no surprises during the contract term.
Can we start with a pilot and expand?
Yes — that's exactly what the Pilot tier is for. Start with one school or one grade level. When you're ready to expand district-wide, we apply your Pilot payment as a credit toward the larger tier.
Do you support purchase orders?
Yes. We can generate a formal quote for your procurement team. Once approved, we accept PO-backed payments and will invoice your accounts payable department directly.
Does this work on Chromebooks?
Yes. Playground runs entirely in the browser — no extensions, no apps, no Play Store. It works on any Chromebook with a modern version of Chrome, including managed school Chromebooks with content filtering.
Is student data stored or shared?
Student programs are stored under their classroom account. We do not sell, share, or use student data for advertising. District accounts can request data deletion at any time.
What grade levels is this designed for?
Playground is designed for grades 3–10. The block interface is accessible to younger students (grades 3–5), while the full language with functions, lists, and events supports middle and early high school. Many motivated students go further.
